Retirement Coaching

At New Moon Occupational Therapy, we support people navigating retirement and other major life transitions—not just the practical changes, but also the emotional and identity shifts that come with them. Retirement is more than leaving paid work; it’s a profound change in routine, purpose, roles, and relationships. Our coaching services are designed to help you step into this new phase with clarity, confidence, and intention.

Grounded in occupational therapy principles, our approach looks at the whole person: how you spend your time, what gives your days meaning, how you connect with others, and how your habits and environments support (or limit) your wellbeing. Whether retirement is approaching, newly underway, or already established but feeling unsettled, we meet you where you are.

Our service may be helpful if you:

  • Preparing for retirement and want a thoughtful, proactive transition

  • If you are a recent retiree feeling uncertain, restless, or disappointed by retirement

  • Or have been retired for some time, and are seeking renewed meaning and structure

  • If you are experiencing ing other life transitions with retirement, such as divorce, caregiving changes, or identity shifts

Retirement coaching can support you to:

  • Create satisfying daily routines that balance rest, activity, and enjoyment
