Land Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that we are privileged to live and work in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This land was never surrendered through treaty or war. We honour the Mi’kmaq’s deep and enduring connection to this land and recognize the ongoing impacts of colonization on Indigenous communities.

Note on Language
Though we use the term “woman” with reference to women’s health services, we recognise this may not be a term with which some folks identify. We acknowledge not all women have a uterus and not all birthing people identify as women. We do not limit who may access these services, and we are committed to providing care to all people, including transgender, and non-binary folks, in a safe, inclusive, non-judgemental manner.
