Being fully present in the moment—whether that’s hiking a quiet trail, swimming in open water, or helping someone discover a new sense of purpose after a life change.

To quietly accept a life that no longer fits because of fear or a belief that change is not possible.

Resilience—the ability to keep moving forward even when the path is uncertain.

Learning to live successfully with a 25 year chronic health condition and bringing up three healthy, successful and lovely children.

Hiking and picking wild flowers (especially lupines) along the way, as a leisure and spiritual occupation!  I have hiked trails across the globe in Wales, Portugal, England, Italy, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia.

Total inertia; whether that be at work, in a relationship, or personal endeavours.

Perfection. I’ve learned that process and having fun along the way is more valuable than flawless outcomes.

Curiosity—the willingness to be a life-long learner, regardless, and to ask, “What else is possible?”

What is your favorite quote?

“There is a crack in everything.. that’s how the light gets in" - Leonard Cohen.

What do you want people to remember about you?

That I had a great sense of humor and helped them move into the next chapter with confidence, meaning, and a renewed sense of self.
